Before I made the decision to choose Hampton Carpets to do the job, I also approached a super carpet store and a sole carpet fitter. I was a bit disappointed by the superstore in their over negotiations and by the sole fitter in his seemingly dodgy recommendation of the underlay.

Hampton Carpets is genuine. Store staff went to great lengths to help us choose the right underlay as well as the carpet to meet our needs.

Led by the director, the fitting team were also brilliant, paying attention to every detail and clearing up and taking away every debris. I am also grateful for their professional advice that no electrical cable should be laid under the carpet (which I initially wanted them to do) and for the director’s kind flexibility to spread the work on a Thursday and Monday giving me the whole weekend to empty two bedrooms and paint the walls before laying the new carpet.

In the end, I may have spent something like £100 more compared with the other quotes, but the family are absolutely delighted with the result, a result that not only looks beautiful and feels fantastic but also, I believe, will last for many years to come.
